The rewards of small scale vineyards and home winemaking can be very large.  The quality levels small projects can create can be very high.  The headaches associated with equipping small operations can sometimes be huge. 

At DVC we understand that someone's fifty-vine vineyard is just as relevant to them as commercial growers fifty-acre plus vineyards are to them.  Most vineyard industry suppliers don't see it that way.  At DVC, we understand the relative importance of a home winemaker's eight gallon barrel of wine is at least equivalent to a commercial winemaker's eight thousand case wine production.  At DVC, we understand that while concern and pride may be comparable regardless of scale, the needs experienced by these different scales can be quite different.
