1999 Three Dog Vineyards
Cabernet Sauvignon
|

|
Our ultra-premium
wine, made in only the finest brand new French oak barrels every single vintage,
demonstrates why old-vine wines are so treasured. The decades-old vines
produce unparalleled fruit that is fermented in small lots based upon vineyard
characteristics from the areas they were harvested. The wines
are slowly fermented, cellared, and bottle-aged to perfection. The 1999, a
phenomenal year, is our current release, with only 176 cases produced.
Please note that there is only one retail outlet in any given zip code, so
precious are our annual volumes of this elixir.

2002 Delta Diablo Cabernet
Sauvignon
 |
If there
was ever any doubt that
Brentwood, located along
Northern California’s
delta region, is truly wine country, this vintage strips away all reservations.
Deep color and layers of flavors make this a wine to serve to knowledgeable wine
aficionados, yet the fragrance of figs, cherries, and plums makes it also an
instant favorite for casual palates as well. Shaped by the climate of the
San Francisco Bay this wine crosses virtually every culinary boundary, i.e.
serve it with just about anything, and at just about any time. Meats,
poultry, cheeses, pastas, fruits, chocolates, it all works with a
wonderful integration for the senses. We recommend you check it out as
soon as you can. Sample it as soon as you get it, or age it for five or
more years. |

Cabernet Sauvignon
The grapes for this wine were harvested from 40-year-old vines
planted on the Santa Rosa Plateau. This wine exhibits a dark cherry color
with intense varietal characteristics and flavors of currants and black cherry.
There are firm tannins and toasty oak flavors derived from aging the wine in a
mixture of new and one-year-old French Oak Barrels.

2002
Plateau Vineyards Merlot

The fruit for this wine was hand harvested from
a small, one acre, block of grapes. The wine has a distinctively fruity
flavor with stone fruit undertones. A soft presence of oak is noticeable
from twenty-four months of aging in seasoned French Oak barrels.
